Town 2-0 Coventry Sat 21st Apr 2001 17:58 The Blues place in Europe was confirmed as they beat a lacklustre Coventry side as Southampton drew with Aston Villa. Johnson for England Tue 22nd Aug 2000 10:39 Town manager George Burley has said that Town striker may still have a chance of making it in an England shirt despite last season's international shenanigans. Johnson was linked with Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as it was thought his possession of a British passport despite being born outside the UK meant he was eligible for any of the home countries. This however was found to be untrue as his mother was born in England. |
